Hey Kosha, Here are some facts about Mangal Pandey in The Rising. There was hardly any material to be known about Mangal. Most of it is fictional as there are no traces, so forget about knowing our history through Bollywood films, the film is a quirky look at the HERO! As far as i know, the Movie is Mangal Pandey in Bollywood! The movie does give insight about the working of the East India Company but not about Mangal Pandey et al!

Finally it is so good to see people joining in... a reunion on the net if not in person. Atleast better than no reunion!!

About my life as of now, I left Architecture to join Animation and 473% enjoying the decision taken. No hard feelings for Architecture though (I consider it like a classic divorce case: Me and Architecture, we are divorced, but still friends!) The Animation world is a fantasy which is very much what my life was about... the only thing different thing from then was, i was building castles in the air... now i build it on celluloid.
